Constructions
Human hands can create and can destroy, but also can overcome difficulties. At the same time, each hand is a fragile and complex biological construction that can be injuried in an instant, as I learned from my own experience. However, even seemingly irreversible damage can be the beginning of a long and difficult path to recovery.
Photographs allow us to see this delicate balance between strength and fragility, between loss and restoration. They unite my hands with lifeless objects, creating a harmonious combination in a cycle of human and natural. This process of generative merging allows us to observe that nature itself has an incredible ability to self-repair, just like the human body.
